Air testing for new build holiday let
We recently carried out Pulse air tightness testing on this new build holiday let in North Devon to demonstrate Part L Building Regulations compliance. The stylish room-in-roof property has beautiful views and has now successfully achieved its Part L Building Regulations air permeability requirements. A straightforward project in a fantastic location, helping the client move one step closer to Building Control sign-off.

Commercial Air Tightness Testing – Newlyn Marine Skills & Resource Centre, Cornwall
We recently completed commercial Pulse air tightness testing at the Newlyn Marine Skills & Resource Centre in Cornwall. Despite the building’s complex sloping ceilings and varying geometry, accurate modelling enabled a successful test result of 3.93 m³/(h·m²) @50Pa, demonstrating compliance with Part L Building Regulations and providing certification for Building Control.

Part L air tightness test in beautiful North Devon
This unique barn conversion, positioned on an exposed ridge, is a high-quality new dwelling formed from a traditional agricultural structure and required a considered approach to air tightness across its split-volume form.
I provided pre-test guidance to manage leakage risks at key junctions, followed by Pulse air testing to demonstrate Part L compliance, achieving a pass with lodged certification issued for Building Control and SAP.
